How to treat a sunburn Naturally
Are you a red hot mess? Has your sun worshipping days got you feeling burned and blistered? Well then follow these all natural tips to treat that sunburn and start feeling better right now!
1. Moisturize - Make that bottle of unscented hypo-allergenic body lotion your new best friend. I reccomend "Alba Botanica brand Very Emollient body lotion". Apply every time your skin starts to feel hot and bothered. The lotion will cool you down and treat the skin, It will also help to prevent peeling later.
2. Hydrate - Drink Water and Water alone! You have to moisturize your insides just like you do your outsides, so go get your drink on!
3. Treat - If you are severely burned with blisters or bumps, break off a piece of an aloe plant and rub the gooey green goodness all over the blisters. You can also purchase an aloe vera product but I believe that the raw plant works much better and faster. If you dont have an aloe plant then just go to the garden section and purchase a little one or if you know where some grows then just go get some (but politely ask first if its a neighbor's plant).
4. Take the sting out - If you are still in pain after all this, then simply take a vinegar and cool water bath. Just pour a little white vinegar into your cool/lukewarm bathwater and soak it up!
Go on and feel better now!
